Tom Heffernan

I am so so sad to hear of the passing of Tom, what a pure gentleman. I had the privilege of meeting Tom in Terenure Nursing home when i went to visit my best friend Paddy Hackett. Tom and Paddy shared a room together and they were in separatable. There was always fun and laughter when they were together. We had such great laughs there and he was also so witty in his replies also. What a legend, ah may Tom's gentle soul rest in peace Amen

Dear Tom was such a kind gentle soul , who was so good to my Dear Mam and Dad when they arrived in Terenure NH .
He used to help my Dad Brendan to walk around the garden there and to sit with him on the garden bench . He was great company for him . He will be greatly missed by us all . Rest In Peace dear Tom .

I'm going to miss you Grandpa. You were the only person in the family that made me look and feel like I fit with everyone else. I'll miss our jokes and your stories. I wish we'd had more time.

We'll have to catch up on the other side one day. I'll get to tell you about your great grandkids and hopefully your great great grandkids.

Save me a seat and I'll buy the first round.

Rest in peace my beloved Pappa Bear. I will miss your hugs and pearls of wisdom. We always finished each other's sentences. I thank God for the 19 years we had together. I thank God for Jean and Danny and the care and joy they brought to you in my absence. You were the best Father for me. I felt my Fathers love and it healed so much of the pain.RIEP.

Sad to hear of Toms death. While we never met, there were many occasions where we missed one another by a small margin. I was however well known to his siblings who predeceased him. All sadly missed RIP

To say I was saddened to hear of Tom’s passing is an understatement, such a character and the fun and laughter he had with my late Dad Kevin and Jean will be forever remembered .
My sincere condolences to you Jean ,you looked after Tom so well down through the years with all your love and care and it was a blessing to witness.
May Tom rest in peace, I am sure Dad will be happy to see him and the two of them can carry on where they left off .
