Dear Jennifer. Gillian and I have been away so hence this belated note. We are both very saddened to hear that Tom has left us. He was a true gentleman and was always so helpful and giving of his time when it came to Wag matters, particularly when I was Class Captain. Our sincere condolences and very best wishes to you and all your family.
Tom was a great leader in public health. I had the privilege to work with him on many occasions with the Association of European Cancer Leagues and the UICC. May he rest in peace. All my sympathy to his family.

Deepest sympathies to Jennifer and family on Tom's passing. Long after his nominal retirement he continued to provide leadership, advice and access to his wealth of experience which was seminal for Men Against Cancer here in Ireland and also as the founding Chairman of the European Prostate Cancer Coalition - Europa Uomo. He was quietly effective and unstinting in his generosity on behalf of so many patients.

Deepest sympathy to the entire Hudson family. Back in the 1980's Tom was one of the founders of ASH Ireland and thus began Ireland's successful fight against the tobacco industry. He was renowned in Europe for his leadership skills in tobacco and cancer control. He was always a pleasure to work with.
