Dear Ann,
I have just learnt of the very sad passing of Tom. He was one of life's true gentlemen, very knowledgeable and great company. You could talk with him about any subject and he would make it entertaining. Both of you made a great team. May he rest in peace. God bless.

So heart broken about Tom’s sudden death. He was the love of your life. I remember as little girl when you both came to stay with us Cork and Jacqueline and I stole a glimpse of you both through the hatch dancing and kissing in the sitting room. Diarmuid was a student there and I was Chairperson of the parents association. Tom's passion for both Cobh and education was immense and his kindness will always be remembered.

Tom Jago is one of those persons who leaves the world a better place for having been in it. He was a well educated, successful businessman who was well traveled and a humanitarian. In addition, he was a most generous man. More importantly, he was a devoted husband, great brother-in-law and uncle. Whenever we visited Ireland, he opened their home to us and made us feel most welcome. He will be sorely missed.

Our son, Joey, was the beneficiary of his altruistic nature when he received the annual Staf Gebruers prize in 2013 with a bursary donated by Tom and Ann. We have fond memories of meeting both of you then.
