I had the pleasure of knowing Tom as our paths crossed through Dundrum FC where he coached the senior team when I joined. In fact it was Tom who convinced my to sign. A decision I made largely due to his infectious personality and larger than life character. Thinking of him always brings a smile to my face and I have great memories of him that I will carry with me for years to come. I would like to extended my condolences to all his family at his passing but his memory will always bring great joy to those who were lucky to know him.

My deepest condolences to the Kane family on Tom’s passing.

I had the pleasure of having Tom as our football manager at Dundrum for a few years and have the best memories of that period. Tom was devoted and gave up so much of his time to coaching and running the team, always making sure we had everything we needed. We had so many laughs during those years and Tom was the glue that held everything together.
