To all of Tom's family and loved ones, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Tom's very sudden passing. I have very fond memories of Tom from secondary school days, he really was one of the nice guys and great fun to be around. My thoughts are with you all.

I was so sad to hear of Tom's passing. I used to work with him from time to time in Owens DDB about 20 years ago. He was always great fun and a pleasure to be around. He was a talented writer and presenter and I always looked forward to working with him. I remember him talking about Indigo and Holly Star, and what a proud father he was. My deepest condolonces to all his family. You must miss him terribly.

I had the pleasure of working with Tom many years ago in Young Advertising. He was a true gentleman and a uniquely talented creative spirit. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family at this sad time.

I knew Tom through football, where on the pitch, you quickly gain insight into someone's temperament. As Tom's 1st cousin, growing up in Monaghan, i had lots of interaction with him before we both left Monaghan. I always thought he was so sophisticated back then - playing tennis, soccer and the only person i knew who owned a skateboard:-). He was a lovely guy and i wish i had more time with him as an adult. I know Tom through our hiking trips the start of which was Kilimanjaro. The way he prepared us, guided us, encouraged us - all done in a beautiful way - warm, gentle, patient yet determined, ambitious for us all - given generously and selflessly and always with his cheerful smile and sense of humour.

So many wonderful hikes followed - Sundays in the Wicklow hills, Carrauntoohill, Iceland, Dolomites and more. There are great memories in so many photos and our trip books to always remember him.

It is very shocking that Tom's life has ended way too soon for you as a family and with many mountains left to climb. So so heartbreaking for you all and his close friends.
