Deepest condolences to the Keogh family on the passing of Tom. Our time in press boxes overlapped only briefly but it was clear he was a well-liked and avuncular character in Irish sports journalism. RIP.
I'm terribly sorry to hear the news. I hadn't seen Tom for many years but have only the fondest memories of my encounters with him when we used to meet on a regular basis at games and other events. I was a young reporter. starting out and he was invariably good humoured and supportive towards me; funny, good natured and helpful. He will be well remembered by those who worked with him. Sorry for your loss.
I didn't know Tom particularly well as I was jus starting off "on the beat" but he always struck me as someone with a cheeky sense of humour and reading many of the tributes, that appears to be true. It's a very sad time for all the family and I extend my sincere sympathies to you all.
