He graced the playing fields in his Breffni Blue and generously gave back to his county in many diverse roles when his playing days were over. A proud Cavan and Mountnugent man.

So, so sad to learn of the passing of Tom. He was a fantastic footballer to look up to in my youth but then to be able to call him a friend in later years was something else.
