Sincere condolences to Kathy and all the McKeagney family on the very sad loss of their dear dad. I had the privilege of meeting Tom on a couple of the many occasions when Kathy has played music for us at the Irish Mass in St. Mary's, Chapel Lane, Belfast. He spoke Irish, helped Kathy in with her gear; he was joyful, kind, interested and interesting; full of fun and humour. The funeral Mass today was just beautiful. He must be so proud of you all: the dignity, participation and music from start to finish was emotive, special and very fitting. A Mhuire na nGael, guigh air. To our cousins, we send you our love. Your parents and as years went on, your Dad were very dear to us. We cherished our visits with him, his sense of humor, and great delight in learning and exploring PA and NJ with us. His letters were anticipated and read many times over. Later, his video chats great fun. Our greatest joy was visiting him and Aunt Mary in Fivemiletown. May he rest in peace and all of you find solace.
