Sincere condolences to Geraldine, Alan, Shane and Ian, Peig, Ted and Denis and extended Molan family.

Thank you for your hospitality, Geraldine and family. I am sorry I didn’t get to meet Tom. Since his passing, I have met some of you, also neighbours and childhood friends.

All relate Tom virtues; his gentle, intelligent, fun and kind ways.
A shooting star, I was too late to see!

The Measure of a Man

Not how did he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the words in the newspapers say
But how many were sad when he passed away.
This was a man, a father a friend
A man who loved life and is loved without end.
