It was the late 60's, early 70's I first encountered Tom Moloney.
He was treasurer at RTGC, I was an articled clerk. In those times
Golf and golf clubs had an aura, a Mystique, about them to guys my age.
I had a certain amount of fear and trepiidation.
Tom was courteous, helpful and informative always. An absolute gentleman. I learned
so much from him. I will never forget him. He remained a kind gentle man through
the fitty or so years I knew him. May God rest and keep Tom and give strength and
comfort to his wife and family.
