Always a great guy, from our time in UCD so many years ago, to that time we met in Queenstown in 2011 (to my embarrassment he had to remind me who he was) to more recent times when some of us aging engineers got together for lunch and much reminiscing. We'll miss him. Sincere sympathy to you and family. May he rest in peace.

Dear Rosemary and to all your family. Mairead and I are so saddened by Tom's recent passing. I have such fond memories of our meetings at Woodbrook, especially at Tom's Plummers Captain night. Mairead knew Tom through the ICMA and she received a special welcome on that memorable night. And that was Tom, so kind , sociable and friendly to everyone he met. He had an everlasting smile and always a song in his heart.
He would have been delighted with the beautiful mass held on Monday to mark his passing. May he rest in piece.

Sending our deepest sympathies from the Foley family.
We have such wonderful memories of Tom. Some great times down in Melbourne- BBQs, going to a match, or just having some beers - Tom was always just such good company. He was so easy to talk to, always made time to listen. He also was such a great storyteller - someone you could just listen to for hours. I always remember the story he told at Conor and Roisin's wedding about getting the house alarm installed - "not to keep the burglars out....but to keep the kids in !".
Everyone - who describes Tom says something similar "he was such a nice and gentle man"
He will be missed very much.

To the Moriarty Family and extended families. Please accept our most sincere condolences on the sad passing of Tom, a real gentleman and our dear friend. We have very fond memories of the great days and nights we all shared together with Tom and our Scottish & Irish friends from Linlithgow during our many outings both home and abroad. The rugby and golf matches and particularly the many late night sing songs that we all enjoyed and that Tom was very much a part of. People never die whose memories live on in others and we will always remember Tom for all the good qualities he brought to our group. He was one of life’s Gentlemen. May he rest in peace.
