I want to offer my condolences to Toms wife Lena and their children. I went to college with Lena in 1976-1980 and she is a lovely lady , this is such a shock to the whole family.

For several years Tom was a loyal member of Tipperary Community Council. I recall, in particular, his hard work and commitment in the refurbishing of the old national schools and their re-opening as the Community Services Centre.
