My condolences to the Britton family. It is so sad to hear of Tom's death. Tom was a lovely, gentle person. My first memory of Tom is of him as a young Garda recruit from Leitrim. He never visits us in the Park, Templemore without a bag of sweets. I hope he is with Joe and Mage in Heavan.

Saddened to hear Tom has passed away. I have fond memories of Tom as a training Sergeant and mentor in Monaghan in the late 90's. He especially looked out for the Leitrim lads. Rest in Peace Tom.

I was deeply saddened by passing of Mr. Tom. While I never had the honour of meeting him, having worked with Damien for the past 9 years, I can only imagine the remarkable man and father he must have been. Damien’s character is a true reflection of his father influence. My thoughts are with the Britton family during this very difficult time.
