To Tom's wife, daughters, grandchildren and the extended Durkin family; may I offer you my deepest sympathies and condolences on the terribly sad passing of Tom.
My apologies also, as I have only heard this news on my return from holiday.
I am shocked and saddened, for I have known Tom for almost 20yrs, a kind and thoroughly decent man. I always enjoyed our chats about Galway GAA when he called to my mother's business for eggs.
Rest In Peace Tom, you were a total gentleman and you will be missed but very fondly remembered.
