Sincerest sympathy to Marie and family on the sad passing of your dad, the lovely Tommy. Fond memories of Tommy when he called to Kevin Corrigan's garage over so many years. Many's the car they examined and many's the yarn ( and fib ) was told about the array of cars discussed. Tommy always had an eye for the classics of the day, to wit his beautiful "Humber Sceptre ". What a car...not for him the gaudy Beamers or Mercs of today..the beautiful lines of the " Sceptre ", plush leather seats, clocks and dials like like an aeroplane cockpit defined the word "Classic". Add to that the driver of this automobile was the kindest, most soft spoken gentleman you could meet." Far from the madding crowd, his noble wishes never learned to stray. Along the cool sequestered vale of life,he kept the noiseless tenor of his way. Large was his bounty and his soul sincere, Heaven as a recompense did largely send. He gained from Heaven ( twas all he wished) a friend." Rest easy Tommy, behind the wheel with God in Heaven. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam.
