My heartfelt condolences to Laura, Eleanor, and Niall on the passing of your Dad. Thinking of you and the extended family during this time of loss and sadness. He was truly a remarkable man, full of humor, intelligence, and kindness. I have so many great memories of him, from childhood right up to recently, when I would stop to chat with him during his walks home from the village. We'd always have a laugh, and he made the journey enjoyable. Just a few weeks ago, I spent a couple of hours talking with him outside your house, and he was in great form, as always. Even after going through difficult times, his strength and spirit never wavered, and I have immense respect for him.

It was a real pleasure knowing him, and I’m grateful for all the memories. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. I hope you’re all managing as best as you can during this difficult time. If there’s anything my family and I can do, please don’t hesitate to let us know. May he rest in peace.
