Sincere condolences Mary, Isabel & Julia. I consider myself very fortunate to have been a teammate of Tom's during his time in Galway. I will always remember with a smile on my face as he brought so much laughter and fun to our team. May he rest in peace.

To Mary, Isabel, Julia & family I want to offer my condolences.

I am living in Melbourne, Australia & was very sorry to hear the sad news. Tom coached my senior cup team in Crescent College in 2009. There are several other crescent alumni in Melbourne who had been coached by Tom, we were all rattled by the news.

I'll always remember Tom for his infectious enthusiasm & energy. He was a joy to train with and be around. A few highlights were an away win vs clongos on a cold wet January morning and a tour in Italy.
— Cathal O'Connor

I count myself lucky to have spent with Tom, and have so many treasured memories of our time together at Leicester. No matter what the situation, how tired or in pain you were, he had that look that said he could crack a joke in a blink of an eye that would have everyone in stitches. Heartbroken over the untimely passing of Tom. I was lucky enough to work along side Tom for many years working with many of the teams. Tom never failed to make me laugh. He had a cheeky humour, a beaming smile that would light up any room and a pure heart of gold.
He always took time out of his day to always check in on me and I will never forget our chats in and out of work.

To his beloved wife Mary and his two much loved daughters, my heart breaks for you. I hope you take comfort in reading all the love people had for Tom and thank you for sharing Tom with us.

To Tom - thank you for your support and guidance not only to myself but to the many players over the years that you coached who owe you so much thanks.

May you rest in peace
