I first got to know Tomás, when I served for a short period as a delegate from Millstreet Community Council to the County Federation of Muintir na Tire. Tomas was County Secretary at the time, and along with the County Chair, the late Sean Murphy and Finbarr Motherway, they made a formidable team in the pursuit of the best possible deal for the various Communities they served across the County. While our paths seldom crossed in the meantime, the almost fanatical approach of Tomas left an indelibly positive impression which hasnt nor won't be forgotten. May the outstanding dedication and service delivered by Tomas be an example to all of us going forward. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé. Deepest sympathy to his immediate and extended family

He was such a great community man and was so much involved in so many organisations & Sport Clubs over the years such as Aghern Churchyard, Aghern Stage Committee, St Catherines GAA, Conna Macra na Feirme, Conna Community Council, Conna Community Care, Conna Community Alert, Conna Muintir na Tire, President of National Muintir na Tire for several years as well, also did a lot of fundraising for both Fermoy Hospital and other organisations He was such an outstanding man to both our community and our parish for such a long number of years.
You will never be forgotten and will go down in history .
