I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Tomás. I had the privilege of knowing Tomás through the Institute. He was an absolute gentleman, always so helpful and respectful and it was a pleasure to have known him. My heartfelt sympathies to his wife and family. May he rest in eternal peace.

I had the privilege to work with Tomás, particularly in St. Luke’s Clonmel. He made me very welcome from day one, handing me a set of keys to let me share his office while I was waiting for mine to be ready. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I got know Tomás better and experience time with an exceptionally talented and genuinely decent person. During his awful sickness, he remained steadfast in his positivity. From his hospital bed, he still asked how things were progressing on projects and never lost interest in life around him.
Tomás bore his illness bravely, with little complaint for himself and always thinking of Caroline. It was a pleasure knowing him and I will miss his friendship.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Mossy. He was such a fun, loving guy. My sincere condolences to Caroline and Tomas’ family and friends. I worked with Tomas for many years in HSE Estates. Tomas was a character and a gentleman. He would always bring us back little ornaments from his travels and leave sweets for us at Christmas. When he would leave the office to check on sites he would tell us he was ‘taking his soul for a stroll’. He will be missed.
