There are not enough words to express our heartfelt gratitude for the sympathy, love and support extended to our family on the loss of our courageous brother Tomás (Tom)

But when I walked through Heaven's Gates, I felt so much at home, for God looked down, smiled at me, And told me "Welcome Home." So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.

Warmest deepest condolences and sincere sorrowful sympathies to all the Mulqueen family and many mutual friends of Tomas. We were travelling to walk 115km of the Camino when we heard we had lost this beautiful soul, great strong character and powerful friend. We were so sorry we couldn't say goodbye in person and give you all a hug. We prayed for him and thought of him with every step. We will never forget his forever enduring smile, great humour, spirit, warmth. So many happy memories and tales of tricks and adventures especially through scouting and cups of tea in the Mardyke. His memory will always live on especially in all of you. He is at peace now with the legendary Tom and Bridie. Ar laimh dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.

Really very sorry to hear of the death of Tomas and my sincere sympathy to Emer and Darragh, Mary, Sheila,Finola, Andrew and James. I hadn’t heard of Tomas’s passing until recently and regret that I wasn’t able to attend the funeral. Tomas was a real gentleman and even though we only met on a few occasions he made a lasting impression on me. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I’m very sad to hear of the passing of Tom. Tom was a very kind, funny man who I spent many happy hours with on the bike.

I recall one particularly funny story from when we were cycling in Spain together about a horse , the rest of which should be left unsaid.

I am so sorry to hear about Tomas. My love to his family. I remember many a night when we were kids and I had a sleepover in the mobile home. We had so much fun. All of us playing soccer out the sand bank. He was the goal keeper extraordinaire!!!! All the times we played golf in Mahon 😀 Tomas was so strong and is an inspiration to us all man. I hope they have a good cycling team where you are man. You’ll be able to teach ‘em a thing or two. Love to his children, brothers and sisters and all who knew him xx

From my kids. Kindest soul. Made them feel so delighted to see them. Met him on the bank of the lee for years coaching on our bike and them rowing like their mom. He was so positivie. Nearĺy fell into the lee loads of times rowing and cyclying on the bank coaching. Not my favourite moments but he had a great laugh. At me I think!!!3 of them rowing for Ireland this year Tom. You would be so proud
