I got to know Tommie in the late '90 early '00 while working in St.John of God Hospital, Stillorgan. Being a native Rossie myself we clicked and became the best of buddies. I enjoyed his company
during many tea/lunch breaks and on evening/night's out at work socal gatherings.

I valued his opinion on numerous life and career decisions. Tommie was instrumental when I bought my first car, he checked it over for me and guided me to negotiating the best deal. Those skills he taught me have served me very well since.

I know life throw Tommie and ye his daughters many heart rendering challenges. His resilience, commitment and unwavering love to you both kept him going.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend Tommies funeral, I watched his funeral mass online this
morning, a beautiful and fitting tribute to one of life's perfect gentlemen.

While I saddened at his passing, I'm grateful to have met and got to know him. Although we lost touch I'll remember Tommie for his friendship & kindness. I'll think of him especially on the days when I struggle and have to push myself to " Get Up And Get On With It".

Thank you for your kindness, help and friendship Tommie, and, until we meet again, may you rest in Peace with all your loved one's who have gone before you.
