Tommy and Family so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We have a fond memory of last meeting him and your mam in the Hudson Bay Hotel a few years ago and he was in great form that morning. The world has lost a Gentleman.May your Dad RIP
Ann We were so sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
I met Tommy when we both were elected to the TSSA Exec. committee. He proved to be a great friend. He was very kind, intelligent, knowledgeable and sociable. We spent many hours putting the union and world to rights, talking about our families and work. On the few occasions when John and I met up with Tommy and Ann they were wonderful company. I was so sorry when Tommy first took ill, and I often think of the times he spoke of enjoying his retirement on walking holidays and it is so sad he never got to do it. His family have lost a lovely, caring husband, father and grandfather and John and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy. RIP Tommy.
My deepest sympathies to all the grieving Breen family at this sad time. Tommy was a very special person who dedicated his time and energy to so many groups in ballybrack and I have fond memories of my time helping with the adventure scouts and our hikes and camping. He always had a smile for u when u met him and made everyone day a lot brighter the moment u met him . He bore his illness so proudly and he truly deserves to always be a true icon of ballybrack folklore. May he rest in peace.
Dear Ann and family thinking of you at this sad time Tommy was a lovely man with a lovely smile fond memories of our yoga days in shankill and the cups of tea rest in peace Tommy from Martina
Ann and all the Breen family. Sorry to hear about Tommys passing. He was a great man and loved by a lot of people. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time. RIP Tommy xx
On behalf of all TSSA members, the General Sec, Irish Committee and Executive committee Tommy will be sadly missed. Tommy was a staunch TSSA member and activist, our condolences and prayers go out to his family.
I knew Tommy from the mid-2000s ('noughties') and his work for our union, TSSA. I grew to like Tommy and as former busman myself, understood where he was coming from. Tommy had a great sense of humour and was a delight to be in his company. His work circumstances and later his health prevented us staying in close contact, but I've often thoguht about him, and learned from his wisdom (and jokes). I will remember a caring man, a family man, and someone who often thought of others before himself.
My deepest sympathies to ann and family. I am glad to have known such a nice man
