I had the pleasure of knowing Tommy as he is the Father-in-law of my daughter Emily and Grandfather to Bláithín, or Row-Row as she calls him, as she loved him singing “Row, Row, Row your boat”. I suppose that made us Grandfathers-in-law. Tommy was one of the nicest, kind, warm hearted people I’ve ever known. Deepest sympathy to all on the loss of a wonderful man.
— Jimmy Murphy

Summers spent in Carraroe (Co.Galway) will always have special memories for me because thats where I First met and got to know the Egans. Tommy was always so welcoming with a smile, open arms and a big hug that you felt like part of the family.

Going to Galway races one year and losing all my bets, trips to the beach and barbeques out the back of the house. And some evenings just staring at the Stary night sky putting the world to rights are all memories I have spending time with this gregarious wonderful man.

Its still sinking in that you are gone, but definitely not forgotten.
