My father, Patrick Tully, told me today of the passing of Tommy Garvey. A very sad day. I remember fondly the holidays in Cavan where I was friends with his son Padraig . My dearly departed grandparents Thomas and Josephine Tully lived next door. Who could forget his Renault 4 with its own cruise control that silently cruised to a halt outside his home with no engine running once over the brow of the hill. He had a sense of adventure, a sense of humour but also the self assurance to bring us all home safely. May he rest in peace. Kieran
Deepest sympathy to the Garvey family on the loss of Tommy R.i.p. I have fond memories of Tommy in Highfield rd good neighbours. I will keep you all in my prayers.
