My sincere sympathy to the Horgan family on the passing of Tommy. I have fond memories of seeing him play for the club in the 50s. He had a great love of our town and being Irish was important to him during his many years living in England. When home he always visited my late father, the conversation was about past times and what the future held for the Magpies. He always kept update on the happinings of Midleton CBS. Midleton GAA club would like to extend our sincere condolences to the entire Horgan family on Tommy's passing. A former player with our senior team in the 1950's Tommy maintained a lifelong interest in our club and his native town. Even though he spent most of his adult life abroad his thoughts were never far away from Midleton and he spent his visits home catching up with old friends and teammates. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
