Deeply saddened by Tommys passing. A truly remarkable footballer and ambassador for Dundalk FC and indeed the town of Dundalk. A pure and decent gentleman, always with a big smile on his face for everyone. My hero, who became my friend. Your legacy will live on. Deepest condolences to all the McConville family. R.I.P.

I am so sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. Tommy was a great friend and teammate of mine and Bobby Smith. Our experince at Dundalk FC helped me to become The Captain of The US Men's National Team, NASL, MISL All-Star and Bobby won 3 Championships with The Atoms and NY Cosmos, Bobby also was elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Bobby and I send our prayers out to Tommy, his family and the entire Dundalk FC family and community. God Bless, David D'Errico

Really sorry to hear of Tommy Mc Conville,s untimely passing . I was talking to him what seems like a couple of years ago ,when he was down in bray with the Dundalk football team ,and I remember remarking to him as to how fit and well he Looked. My sympathy to Wally, and all the extended family . Ken and Anne Doyle..
