Deepest sympathy to Mary and Sean.
I’ve great memories of Tommy in the mid 60’s when myself and my brothers were part of a band of hunters called the “Forest Warriors”. We made huts out of stones and branches in the woods off the Castlebar road.
Tommy was our leader and, even then, had the bearing of a Native American chief!
A great man.
Rest well Tommy

So sad to hear this. Tommy was a gentle soul who had such an appreciation of nature. He was always courteous and interesting. In my mind's eye, I can see his jaunty walk or his packed bicyle as he made his way to the woods at Creagh. Definitely one of the most interesting people from my childhood. My condolences to all his family and my delight that he got to spend his final days with you.
