Sincere sympathy to Marian, Stephen, Tanya, Abbey, Mary and Malachy on the untimely death of my longtime friend, Tom, RIP. I hate to admit it, but I didn't know a thing about it until I called in to see how he was getting on, yesterday evening. When Marian told me, I was shocked and dumbfounded and of course poor Marian is devastated.
I've known Tom since he worked in Connacht Motors and a nicer, more friendly, honest, decent person it would be very hard to find. I'll always treasure my stop-offs at the Murphy house, when cycling in that area down the years. Another of my great friends gone.
