In March 1998 I drove to Waterford from Meath in a borrowed car for a job interview with Tommy, for a job that I was not even qualified for. Myself and Tommy had a chat over a coffee and then he asked would I like to head to America for a project with a few other lads. He took a chance and gave me a start and I will be forever grateful to him for that. Rest in peace Tommy. You were one of the good ones.

Tommy opened doors for so many people at Garrett/AlliedSignal/Honeywell. He was a gentleman and truly brilliant in his field. My sincerest condolence to his family.

Many fond memories working and fishing with Tommy and great times in Bausch and Lomb. Always remember him getting candies every Friday to bring to the kids. Good friend and family man, will be missed.

My sincere condolences to all of Tommy's family and relatives. He was a dear and much respected colleague of mine for many years at Bausch & Lomb Co. Waterford.
He contributed greatly to the success of the Company in that he programmed the major computer systems,- which outshone the Parent Co's systems ,in their accuracy & effectiveness, -which gained the Waterford plant it's International reputation and promoted it's development/expansions to this day. He will be long remembered by his colleagues.

Tommy was my manager in Allied/Honeywell, I once asked him how many people were working full time in Honeywell software, he didn't flinch and said "about 2" and then the usual laughter. He was a real character. God bless you Tommy.
