I never knew Tommy but live opposite his sister Theresa. I used to often post letters to him for her. Tommy wasn't far from her thoughts in his final illness and she often prayed for him as did his other sister Phylis. May he enjoy his eternal reward.

Saddened to hear of Tommy's death. Such a lovely neighbour. Always stop for a chat. I was shocked to hear that Tommy had passed away.

I have such fond memories of the many times I spent as a very young boy in the signal box in Tipp station, watching Tommy pulling signal levers, opening and closing the road gates while I waved at the trains going by. He was a friendly kind gentle man, RIP.
