Dear Anne, so sorry to hear of the passing of Tommy, a lovely man, good friend & schoolmate. May he rest in peace.

He was a great friend to me and I will always cherish the happy memories we had together in our working lives and afterwards in retirement both here in Ireland and in Spain. It was an honour and a delight to know Tom. He always brought a sparkle and a mischievous twinkle to any meeting or catch-up. I can't tell you how many times he mentoring and gave sound advice about work and life over a coffee. A gentlemen. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Tom at Tellabs for nearly 20 years. But I had the greater pleasure of having Tom as a friend for that time. Tom was one of the greats. He loved life cherished his family and was quick to laugh. Although I will miss him my memories of him will carry me and always bring a smile to my face and a tear to my eye.
