On one occasion his quick thinking saved the two of us from a sudden dangerous situation. Esso & my uncle Noel were good buddies back before that time also. RIP

I have fond memories of working with him as an apprentice at Irish Sugar in the early 1970s.
Although many decades have passed since I left the Sugar Company, Tommy's good humour, kind nature, and ever‑present smile have remained with me.

So sorry over Esso’s (Tommy) passing he was a true gentleman.
I have great memories of my time with Tommy while working in CIE Engineering Works and both of us sharing digs in Inchicore.
