Tommy (Thomas) Hughes

Very sad to read about the death of Thomas. A boyhood companion and a lovely lad. It's many years since we last met but I have great memories of those days. My condolences to the Hughes family.

I will always remember the countless conversations I had with Tommy, mainly discussing golf and snooker, while reading the Racing Post.
He was always kind to offer me and other customers a free can of soda whenever we visited 'The Spot' on our birthday.

He taught me a great amount about understanding betting odds and probability and I am not sure if I would have pursued a career in sports betting without his help and guidance. I am very grateful for this.

I will miss him greatly. Rest in peace Tommy.
