Tommy was a well known and respected member of the Castleblayney community giving a lifetime committment to his native town. A life long member of the Castleblayney Faughs GFC, he along with the late Tony Donnelly penned many songs celebrating the achievments of his beloved Faughs. Gifted with a lovely singing voice Tommy was a former member of the the Castlleblayney Musical Society in the 1960s and for many years was the vocalist with a number of bands in the Castleblayney area during the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Added to that, he was for many years a well known actor with the Blayney Players Dramatic Club. A Blayney man to the last. May Tommy's soul rest in peace.
