Heartfelt condolences to Tina and all of the Thorpe family at this sad time. Sorry I couldn't attend the mass this morning in person but joined on-line in the lovely remembrance mass. As the priest said at the outset Tommy brought joy where ever he went and that was so true. He always had a smile as he greeted you in the foyer of Connolly Station and he was always so helpful to me personally and for that I will always remember him with great fondness. Rest in Peace Tommy.

Our Tommy, what a character. Could always make us laugh. Despite the crushing pain he went through with the loss of his two children he kept fighting on. His beloved daughter Tina, the apple of his eye. She has been his Rock. Tina, Mick, Daryl, Maia and little Kai, he could banter on about them for hours. I know how much joy you all brought to my brother's life and how incredibly proud he was of his family. My heart is broken for myself and our family but mostly for Tina. Tommy had an infectious laugh. You couldn't help being in a better mood when he was around. Clearly by the outpouring of love in these notices, he brought a smile to many hearts and faces over the years. From La Mara to Connolly St, to his many tips for a Winner! He will be remembered for the kindness in his heart and the smile on his face.
