I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Tomsie's passing.
Before I started flying for Aer Lingus, he was kind enough to give me advice on gaining military experience with the FCA in Lahinch and in fact, brought me on a tour of the facilities, in case joining the Aer Corps was an option. Such a kind man.
I always enjoyed meeting him at the Christmas Swim-knowledgeable, interested and interesting, and full of enthusiasm.
A full life, well-lived.

Sincere regrets to Tomsie's family.When I first started doing business in Co Clare,in June 1966, Tomsie was one of the first people to prove to me that Clare was the most hospital county in Ireland.It still is, thanks to people like Tomsie. He was" Mr Lahinch", always busy and always proud of his
