So sad to hear of Tony's passing. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with him in Millers. He was a truly wonderful person, the man behind the Millers Golf Society which without him would not have been the success it was and left us with so many Happy Memories.
Our Sincere Sympathies and Condolences to All Tony's Family.
May He Rest in Peace 🙏
Kevin and Deirdre Costello.

Lovely to have worked with Tony in Millers. Tony was a proud member of the Millers Angling Club and loved the chat and craic with all the lads as much as fishing.

To our dearest, lifelong friend Tony,

Where to even start with our lifetime of memories together. We shared so many family holidays in Wicklow and Kerry over the years. Your generosity and kindness always shone through wherever you were and with whomever you met. You were always wonderful company on the many picnics we've had, the boreens and cliffs we've walked, dodging waves on 'storm beach'. Memories of yourself & Mick having pints in Ballydavid, Co Kerry - watching the sun go down over Smerwick Harbour, and quite often, come back up again! Remember when the local publican even entrusted you two Jackeens with the keys to the pub - Christmas came early on that holiday!

We always loved having you over every year for the annual Stephens Day party. Perhaps you just came my Christmas pudding? Always up for a sing song, especially when the country music came on! How can it ever be the same without you.

We'll never forget you dear Tony - also known by our family as 'The Peace Maker'.
Always in our hearts - until we meet again.xx
— Mick & Margaret Byrne

I can't believe I'm writing this message of condolence about my dearest uncle Tony.
Our 3rd parent, Tony was there at every life milestone and all the bits in between the milestones since I can remember.
I know that Tony knew how much the Byrnes loved him and also that my husband Donal loved him very much too.
We will never forget you dearest Tony, thank you for being the best uncle and friend.
Rest in peace.
Love Lorraine and Donal Lynch and The Byrne family xxxxx
— Lorraine Byrne
Tony's quiet thoughtfulness permeated with anyone lucky enough to spend time with him and in that regard, I've been spoiled. His gentle nature extended to the animal kingdom & he especially loved his dogs...Rebel, Bonnie and Milo were just some of his faithful companions - always by his side. I do, however, have a distinct childhood memory of being on a drive in the countryside with Tony & my dad. They spotted some well fed sheep and they (jokingly) went to great lengths to explain to me how they were going to chase them down and get them for 'dinner'. I think that was the precise moment I became vegetarian...Thank you Uncle Tony, you've impacted my life in so many positive ways. I miss you already.
