Sincere sympathies to Tony's family at home and overseas on his sudden passing. He will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of meeting him, not least the many golfers he played with over the years. Tony was one of a kind, a man of integrity, who always spoke with pride of his wife and family. The Farewell Mass in Malahide was a fitting tribute to his Faith and amazing life. The round of applause, and standing ovation which swept the Church at the end of the eulogies must have resounded in Heaven. May he rest in peace.

To Margaret, Linda, Helen, John, Robert, Anthony & Paul. My Sincere Sympathies to you All on the Very Sad & Sudden Passing of your Wonderful husband/ dad. He will always be remembered as A Gentle Man, who had a Friendly Nature & was not afraid to show his Emotions. Many a chat we shared, & a tear might be Shed over a Sad event or a Laugh shared over a funny story that was told, or a joke made! I will Miss not Seeing him in Our Parish Centre where he had cups of T on a Sunday Afternoon, after the last Mass, & We might often bump into each other before 10 am Weekday Mass! I bet you will be given a Special Seat up there in Heaven Tony, which you truly deserve! May God watch over your family as they get through this difficult time of Loss & Grief. Well we said goodbye to Tony today. Such a lovely service. Very sad for you Margaret, but you were well supported by your great family Linda, Helen,Paul, Robert, Anthony and John. Tony would have been very proud of you all......and for Paul .....a standing ovation in the church for his great words. Tony/Margaret you were great friends to Sean and I for 50 plus years, whether it was Banba nights out, Brewery trips to Dundalk and the heel of the shoe, or the extra carton of cream when he did the milk round, Thanks Tony for all the laughs. Sleep well.
