very sorry to hear of the passing of Tony. I served with him in the 25th platoon in Naas.
We shared the same classroom as apprentice electricians for three years and I'm sure all of the lads would agree that Tony Gough was by far the best electrician of the lot of us.
Tony was a very talented way ahead in my opinion. He was brilliant at art and he introduced many of us to electronic music and bands which we had never heard of before.
The last time I met Tony was in Tullamore at an Army reunion and he was the same kind and witty gentleman as he was all those years ago in Naas barracks.
May he rest in peace and may I send on behalf of the 25th Platoon AAS our deepest felt condolences to Tony's family.

To Joyce and all the Gough family.it is with real sadness that I have heard of Tony's passing.i spent three years with Tony when we were raw recruits in the army apprentice school in naas.i never knew the adult he turned into but if it was anything like the teenager I had the pleasure of serving with then all was good .I can still see his amazing art and the detail that he put into his stunning drawings..my thoughts are with you all at this time and there's a candle burning in my front room tonight for Tony....finbarr and Sandra wrenne.. cork
