So sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was one of the finest people I knew in Irish mountaineering. His ascent with Emmett Goulding in 1961 of the West Face of the Aiguille Dru is a major highlight of Irish Alpine climbing history. It was always a pleasure to meet with him and Anne. A great loss to us all. May he rest in peace.
Very sorry to hear of Tony's death. A stalwart not only of the skiing world but also of the mountaineering world. A true gentleman who wore his athletic prowess modestly and lightly. My deepest sympathy to Anne and family.
