Very sorry to hear of Tony’s passing, Tony was a great pal with great advice back in the early eighties, absolute Gent.
Sincere condolences to Tony’s family.
RIP, Tony.
Deepest condolences to Anne, Kathleen, John, Donal, Enda, and Nuala on the sad passing of your dear Uncle Tony RIP. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the funeral. Tony's sister, Irene, was my very close friend, and I have wonderful memories of times gone by enjoying the company of the Kavanagh family at No 37. Tony was a true gentleman with a unique sense of humour, and a loving singing voice. He so enjoyed classical music, the arts, and was such an interesting conversationalist. Sleep in heavenly peace dear Tony.

Treasured and great memories of a truly unique man. I still love and admire a one-off Tony oil seascape, that he presented to me on the occasion on my marriage in 1990. He was my travel companion and guide on a week's long visit to Paris,( my first) in the mid 1970s and he was a fount of knowledge on the well known sites but also the not so celebrated. We spent a very memorable afternoon in the Père Lachaise cemetery with Edith Piaf,Oscar Wilde and a bottle of wine!! I loved the very moving and well deserved funeral tributes paid to him from his family. Rest easy Tony you've well earned it.
