Deepest sympathy to the Keady family at the loss of Tony. I met him in Boston in the mid eighties. It was not from the wind he took his personality. I remember his father, Jimmy, who worked in BNM, Attymon and I am sure he would be VERY proud of Tony's achievements. RIP

My heart felt sympathy to Tony's family on this very sad time ,I knew Tony from my time working as a steward in croke pk between 86 and 2002 an absolute gent and one brilliant hurler and we as a family are shocked to hear of his passing unfortunately i was away the time of his funeral only for that I would have been there .rest in peace Tony my friend.

a phenomenal man on and off the pitch, who has left this world far too soon. The term legend is overused but Tony certainly deserves to be hailed as a legend because he was certainly that in every sense of the word, his exploits, what he achieved on the field will never be forgotten. He will go down as one of the greats and he is assured of his place in Galway and GAA folklore.
