RIP Tony. I had the pleasure of meeting Tony through working with the MTU Access Office. It was really inspiring to see him show up for classes each week no matter what, always trying his best. It wasn’t only how hard he worked academically that was amazing to watch, it was also how he cared for everyone around him. He didn’t realise how great he was.
I will always remember him as a kind, gentle, caring man who was really trying to learn and grow. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

What an absolute pleasure and honour it was for me to have known Tony. Tony was so kind, caring and warm. It’s been such a privilege to observe the special way he had with people in MTU - the way Tony treated people had such a positive influence and lasting impact on us all. He put in so much effort and he still always had time to help others. I’ll miss his contagious smile, his warm presence and the kindness he so effortlessly displayed to everyone, no matter what. He was one in a million and I have such respect for Tony and will always think of him fondly. Deepest sympathy to his loved ones as this very sad time for you all. May he rest in peace.
