Tony was such a support to me from the beginning. He reckoned I was to him too. So much so that he made contact with me again during the second Covid lockdown and we had the most fabulous phone conversations every few weeks that lasted for up to an hour. We laughed out loud and shared a deep connection on our understandings of the world and life and death. We differed and laughed uproariously about our differences. I will cherish this memory of Tony for the rest of my life and still wish he could call me and we could continue talking like we did. Love to Carmel, Cathy and all his family whom he told me about with great appreciation and love.

Tony's religon classes during the 90s were interesting places for discussion and before there was ever words like dignity and diversity in the modern world we were debating them with him in class on a regular basis. He prepared us for what was ahead in his own way.
