Deeply saddened to learn of Tony’s passing. He was a wonderful friend to me during our time in Waterford, a terrific fun flatmate when we first went to Dublin at the start of our careers and most welcome visitor to my husband Liam and I at our home in Wexford. Will be remembered always with great fondness.

I had the pleasure of working with Tony in Guernsey. He was a true gentleman with a wonderful sense of humour. I loved his rebellious nature and his kind heart. We had many laughs over the years. I had the unqualified privilage of working with Tony over many years and knew him to be the most meticulous and consciensious hard worker that I have ever known. In addition he was a joy to socialise with and a very dear friend - I know he will be deeply missed by his loving family that he held so dear. Go with God my faithful friend - Ralph.

So very sad to hear the news of Tony’s passing - it was such a shock. We worked together for many years and had many splendid evenings drinking gin and tonics and shared many good times together. I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my dear friend Tony.
We stayed together when Tony first came to work in Guernsey in the house owned by the bank for 2 years.
We had some wonderful fun times eating out a lot and socialising with good friends we met in Guernsey. Tony was hardworking, honourable,well respected and often talked about his life in Ireland when he was young. We got on well and I will never forget him.
