A great organizer and affable quiz master Tony left a lasting positive impression on all those who had the pleasure of meeting him. From La Zenia to Limerick we have had the pleasure of being in your company and our thoughts and love go out to you now. May he rest in peace.

Condolences to Bernie and family. Tony was the salt of the earth. He would put himself out to help you. I enjoyed his company in the Shannon Rowing Club on many a night either as Quiz Master, or on the seasonable weekly Solo night or in many other gatherings in the club. I also had the pleasure of being on the City of Limerick VEC Sports Advisory Committee and later the City of Limerick Sports Partnership with Tony where he represented rowing on the committee/partnership. Tony was a real gentleman, he never said a bad word of anyone, a true friend. I will miss you, Tony.
