Geraldine, so very sorry to hear of the sad passing of your husband Tony. My condolences to all the family. I remember you often talking of him when we worked together in the Phoenix Park School. I hope you get some consolation from all the happy years you spent together. Rest in Peace Tony.

A gentle gentleman. Tony was very kind and encouraging to me as a young stage manager in the 70s and to many others in the business. One of the good guys. RIP.

I was very sad to hear of Tony's passing. He was a great support to me at the Abbey both as lighting designer and then technical director and I could always count on him. He will be sadly missed and my deepest sympathy to all his family.

Tony was such a significant part of the WAKEFIELD family tree. He was the No 1 eldest cousin of 18 and much loved by everyone. He will be sadly missed by all of us. Sleep peacefully our dear Tony.

A gentle man is the most accurate description of Tony - he was always friendly, helpful and full of fun. And a (literally) huge inspiration to me when I was starting off. Tony was the most wonderful generous collaborator and colleague. On umpteen productions I designed at the Abbey, Tony lit or managed them. Always wanting to make the work the best it could be. I remember him very fondly. My condolences to his family and his many friends. RIP dear man .
