Trevor was, throughout my life, a ubiquitous companion. Wherever I was, he was already there. Whether the school I transferred to, the places I went or the friends that I made, he was there to greet me. Step by step, we lived our lives in tandem till I got used to the idea of him and his goofy grin always being there.

Since I was told the news about Trevor I'm constantly driven back through years in my mind to remember him smiling and smiling and smiling. Trevor's grin was indomitable, and more than a little bit magic.

I miss you.
