I have very many happy memories of Trudy.I first met Trudy & Jimmy through parish work in 1991. (Jimmy arrived to walk her home- arm in arm)
In fact ,Trudy always mentioned Jimmy- in a most loving way, each & every time we met. I was a young guy in 1991( new to the area) and Trudy made an extra special effort to welcome & intergrate me into the community, a measure I have always appreciated. She was a person of integrity,a great listener with tremendous business experience(that particular facet really surprised me) "decisive honest and fair" is how the Late Monsignor Greehy described her to me,all those years ago. How right he was. She was also a very loyal friend to many. A very astute & charitable lady. She enjoyed a strong faith and sence of family. My condolences to Mark,James & all extended family members and friends.

Sincere Condolences to Trudy's sons and family on her passing. Trudy was a wonderful lady who baked my grandmother's 70th birthday cake many years ago. She was passionate about tennis and enjoyed telling us about meeting the Croatian player, Goran Ivanisevic. Rest in peace Trudy.
Many who played 🎾 tennis with Trudy at the now past, former Brighton Tennis club D6, will remember her with great affection. Her innate decency, kindness, wisdom, goodness. Her silken tennis, staunch club support, baking & social skills graced many Brighton Summer Sunday social tennis tournaments, often for various charities. Her tennis friends, many now scattered to other local clubs, well remember those glorious Summer Sunday Socials of which she was such a huge part.
Condolences to all Trudy's family & friends at her passing. A lady to her fingertips.
Ar dhéis Dé a hanam dilis.-
- Oliver & Mary Maher & all Trudys former Brighton Tennis friends.

I would like to send my deepest Sympathy of the passing of Trudy Keegan and to Mark and James.
I have known Trudy for over 30 years and My late Dad had an Accountancy Practice and he used to bring his Country clients in to the Keegan's Restaurant The Connaught, I also Knew Trudy through Tara tennis Club on Brighton square and I used to give herself and her two late Friends Etienne and Peggy Coaching and Trudy was a great player she had a great cross court forehand and she loved watching the Tennis on Eurosport-she was like myself Sport was her Religion she loved Horse Racing as she grew up in it- she had a few sayings even one about me re the tennis “ Bernard different Class”
Trudy was a great Catholic loved Life- she used to ring me twice a week -I saw her twice in Ferns Nursing Home in July 2024 she was in great spirt- She adored Mark to Bits –
Trudy was in the winner’s enclosure as a mother, A grand Mother-A wife- Sport and especially tennis- and a friend. She will be badly missed and I certainly will miss her she was a legend and she will be joining her late Husband jimmy and her late friends and sisters and Brothers.
Mark was exceptionally good to his mother-he sacrificed everything for her going out every day at his expense to the nursing home and his time -he’s a gentleman and a good friend to me-I will always be here for him if he needs my help or support. Mark has an exceptionally good manner- and I wish him all the success.
Kind Regards
