It is with greatest sadness that we have learnt about the death of Tru. Sincere condolences to Jonathan, Lisa, all Tru's family and many friends. Her positive energy and generosity has left a lasting impression. We can picture her with her beloved Rodney heading off for another adventure. May her amazing soul Rest in Peace.

Sincere sympathy to Sacha, Freya, Johnathan, Francis and extended family. Trudy was a lovely lady with a great sense of humour. A wonderful person with a great sense of adventure.

Tru was an amazing person - a warm hearted generous host with a wide knowledge and love of many subjects.
She loved the sea, knew lots about boats and spent many happy hours taking people to Inishmurray .
She was interested in, and knowledgeable about, all the performing arts.
Her first love was literature and a good book would give her hours of pleasure, both reading it and discussing it later.
She loved nature and wildlife, and had a great knowledge of wild flowers, being an expert on orchids.
Trudi liked to wine and dine and told many a fascinating story over the dinner table.
She was very good to Peter, me and our daughter Lara, and will be sorely missed by all the Woods
May she rest in peace and be reunited with those she loved, including her adored dogs.

I remember Trudy reading one of her poems at a function in the Ben wiskinCentre. Her love of language and her knowledge of the plants that grew around her was very impressive.
